I started Zest to help individuals and organizations that want to make the world better. Driven by values of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and diversity, equity and inclusion, I am committed to helping likeminded clients:

With almost 15 years in corporate communications, marketing, engagement, technical communication and professional storytelling, and deep experience in the local government and not-for-profit sectors, I can embed within existing teams to relax overstretched capacity, roll up my sleeves and extinguish the fires of the moment, write that pesky Plain English technical document, or take giant steps back and help you think through your next move one, five or 10 years down the road.
I've also got an amazing network of designers, strategic thinkers and researchers who are committed to your success, too.
Education
I have a Diploma in Professional Writing from Douglas College, a BA in English Literature from UBC and several engagement certifications, including:

A Bit More About Me
​
I'm a dad to two beautiful girls who fill my heart way past overflowing and a husband to an amazing wife who pushes and challenges me everyday to be my best. You're likely to find us combing a beach for sea glass, counting all the shades of green in the forest canopy, turning over rocks and then carefully placing them back, hiking high in the alpine, paddling to the next great campsite, or celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures, tastes, sights and sounds of our world.
